Ahmed Al Blawi's extensive experience includes his early career in the Saudi Royal Military Forces where he served as Major in the Armored Corps and contributed to the development of the Saudi Armored Corps. His ambition and business acumen led him eventually to request an early retirement from military life in order to launch his successful business career which continues to this day. He has occupied the following roles:

• Founder and Chairman of Al Blagha Holding Group: 1991 to date (Closed Joint Stock)

• Royal Saudi Military Forces: Retired in 1986

Founder and Chairman of the following companies:

• He started his first venture Liqa Trading Company: 1987 to 1991
• The Maritime Company for Navigation (MACNA): 1995 to date
• Al Woroud Real Estate Investment Company: 2011 to date
• Chairman of International Ports Services Co. (IPS): 1997 to date
