Agreement signing ceremony between Al Blagha Industrial Company and Safe Boats International

Al Blagha Industrial Company and Safe Boats International signed an agreement for the production and maintenance of Aluminium boats under the attendance of H.E. the Commander of The Royal Saudi Naval Forces Fahad Alhgafili. Al Blagha Industrial is part of Al Blagha Group, one of the leading Saudi groups specialized in various marine activities including marine transportation, port operations, and marine infrastructure as well as the marine agency. Al Blagha Industrial Company is a company specialized in the maintenance of ships and rigs and is the operator of King Fahad Ship Repair Yard in King Abdulaziz Port in Dammam. Safe Boats International is a leading American Aluminium shipbuilder with a diverse product range and successful track record in the US as well as internationally. The agreement is an important step in achieving the localization of military industries and achieving a 50% localization target, one of the pillars of vision 2030. The agreement will contribute to transferring important shipbuilding technology and developing after sale services capability in the Kingdom. In addition, this partnership localizes a considerable number of specialized marine jobs and contributes to the training of the local workforce.
