    Tafila Wind Farm The 117MW Tafila Wind Project is connected to Jordan’s national grid and accounts for 12% of the Kingdom’s total operating renewable energy generation. The wind facility generates around 350GWh of clean energy annually, enough to power 83,000 homes in the region. This offsets approximately 235,000t of carbon emissions annually. It is the first commercial utility-scale wind power project in the Middle East, and the largest privately-financed wind farm in Jordan.
